The Senior R&D Specialist of Immunochemistry Assay Development

Background:

Based in Beijing, PRC, Chemclin is a leading provider of diagnostic products of both clinical immunochemistry and clinical chemistry in China. To strengthen the capability in development of immunochemistry reagent assays of chemiluminescence’s technology, the company is to employ a senior R&D Specialist in immunochemistry assay development.   

Responsibilities:

This position is based in Beijing, China and requires travel within China. Certain amount of international travel between China and U.S/EUROPE is also expected. The specialist will report directly to CEO.
1.To write technical plans for new infectious disease panel and monitor its conduction;
2.To participate in technical examination during R&D and pilot test ;
3.To verify technical files and regulations with technical conditions and key points;
4.To participate in both internal and external technical training and communication so as to improve technical competitive strength of the whole technical development group;

The Requirements to the candidates:

1. A Ph.D. degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, immunology, pharmaceutical and organic chemistry, chemical engineering or related scientific disciplines, an education background in the US is preferred;
2. Minimum 8 years’ experience in assay development in a leading US or European diagnostic company; of which, minimum 5 years’ experience in chemiluminescence’s immunoassay development; the experience in infectious diseases or tumor markers is preferred.
3. The experience of being a project leader or a team leader is preferred.
4. The experience of chemiluminescence’s immunochemistry system integration is a preferred.
5. Once hired, not less than 6 months annually work in Beijing, China.
