Title: Clinical Laboratory Manager(China)

Description: The qualified candidate is responsible for the overall operation of Adicon Clinical Laboratory in Hangzhou, one of the first clinical lab that has acquired ISO 17025 certificate in China. He/she shall see to it that the lab is running with the state of the art LIS system with good interface to commercial activity of the company. He/she shall oversee all the testing operations in the lab, maintaining the highest level of standard in the field. He/she shall have overall responsibility for the integrity of test results and all QC/QA aspects of the operation. The successful candidate should be well informed of the technological development of clinical labs and shall introduce new test items and test technics when appropriate. He/She shall also lend strong technical support to the marketing team in technical and promotional seminars.

This position is based in Hangzhou, China and requires travel within China. Certain amount of international travel between China and U.S/EUROPE is also expected. The Lab manager will report directly to Director of Hangzhou Adicon Clinical Laboratories, Inc.

Requirements:

1. At least 5 years work experience in management positions, or QA/QC position in a major clinical lab in the U.S, or Europe or Australia.
2. Experience with CAP accreditation, and qualified CAP accredited lab director is preferred.
3. Strong technical background in clinical lab and has expertise in all major testing items in the clinical lab.
4. Familiar with LIS system and its interface with commercial functions.
5. Ph.D/M.Sc. in medical science or in biological sciences may be considered with demonstrated expertise or knowledge in clinical testing.
6. Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
