2022 NACCCA Clinical Mass Spectrometry Research Grant
North American Chinese Clinical Chemists Association (NACCCA), in collaboration with ClinicalMS.com.cn(临床质谱网)are now inviting all NACCCA members to apply for the Clinical Mass Spectrometry Research Grant. Proposals should address questions in the area of clinical applications of mass spectrometry.
Grant recipients must be a member of NACCCA. Funding of the grant is $2,500 and it does not cover any overhead cost at the awardee’s institution. The study is ideally finished within 12 months period. The awardee will be expected to present their research results at an upcoming event or webinar hosted by NACCCA and ClinicalMS.com.cn(临床质谱网).
Evaluation Criteria:
Scientific merit including quality innovation and good experimental design;
Translational potential of research findings to clinical practice;
Degree to which the research proposal is critical to the career of the applicant;
Preference will be given to young investigators.
Proposal Instructions
Word limit: 1,500 words.
Research proposal should include the following section:
Title
Background
Specific Aims
Project description including preliminary results (if applicable).
Projected timeline
References (not included in word limit).
Application Submissions
The applicant needs to be a NACCCA member or needs to sign up for NACCCA membership in order to be considered for this grant.
Applications must be submitted by June 15th, 2022.
