Title: The Prevalence and Clinical Relevance of the dense fine speckled (DFS) Immunofluorescent Staining Pattern in a Large ANA Positive Cohort

Bio:

Dr. Yu Zhang is an assistant professor of Clinical Pathology at the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center. She obtained a medical degree in Laboratory Medicine from Peking University Health Science Center and PhD degree in biology from Tsinghua University. She received ComACC-certified clinical chemistry fellowship training under the supervision of Dr. Alan Wu and Dr. Kara Lynch at the University of California San Francisco and obtained certificates as Clinical Chemist from ABCC, NRCC, and ASCP.  Her research focuses on biomarker evaluation and method development. Her study has resulted in 26 publications, 2 manuscripts in submission, one patent, and awards from the American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC), the American Academy of Clinical Toxicology (AACT), Mass Spectrometry: Applications to the Clinical Lab (MSACL), and NACCCA. She currently serves as the managing editor for Trends in Lab Medicine, the journal of NACCCA.

2. Kruyanshi Master, MS

Title: Solid Lipid Nanoparticles Mediated CBLC siRNA delivery as a platform to Monitor and Probe Biological Function

Bio:

Kruyanshi holds a master's degree in biotechnology from VIT University, India. Currently, she is actively engaged in pursuing her doctoral studies in Clinical Bioanalytical Chemistry at the Chemistry Department of Cleveland State University. Her primary research focus revolves around the formulation and enhancement of solid lipid nanoparticles-based siRNA delivery systems, with the objective of targeting the CBLC gene for the treatment of different epithelial cancers. Kruyanshi possesses expertise in a range of scientific techniques, including Scanning Electron Microscopy, Energy-dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy, Dynamic Light Scattering, and Invitro Cellular Assays.
